Alicia has two children at The Siskiyou School and has been part of the school community since 2020.  Her family loves the deep sense of community the school creates and the warm and engaging curriculum that meets the children in new ways each year. She loves supporting the school through service on the board and as a parent volunteer on campus.  

Originally from Arizona, Alicia attended undergraduate and graduate school at Arizona State University where she earned her BS in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, BA in English Literature, and MNS in Infectious Disease, Ethics, and Policy.  She finished her MA from Loyola University in Chicago before moving to Iowa for medical training.  After completing both her MD and Emergency Medicine Residency at the Univeristy of Iowa, she moved to Oregon with her family in 2015. Alicia currently works as an Emergency Medicine Doctor at Asante.  

In her free time, Alicia loves hiking with her family, cozying up with a knitting project on chilly days, and is always up for an adventure.
