Jog-A-Thon Important Dates:
Tuesday, February 25 - Thursday, March 13: Fundraising
Friday, March 14: Jog Day, times will be staggered and announced soon with the location!
Friday, March 14: All pledge money should be collected and turned in by no later than this day.
How Does The Jog-A-Thon Work?
1) FUNDRAISE!
Students (and parents) reach out to family, friends, neighbors and community members and ask for pledges to support them and our school.
Pledge money should be recorded on their pledge sheets and money should be collected and put in the envelope.
We are asking for flat rate pledges, NOT per lap pledges.
Their distance achieved will be recorded and they will strive to beat their best number each year!
Sponsors can give online via this link, https://secure.givelively.org/donate/the-siskiyou-school/the-siskiyou-school-s-first-annual-jog-a-thon or by cash or check.
2) Turn in your Pledge Sheet with all money collected on Friday, March 14 or earlier.
3) Walk, Jog or Run on "Jog Day", March 14. Students will be ushered to the designated track at their allotted time via chaperone and given a certain amount of time to do as many laps as possible.
4) CELEBRATE! Time to congratulate the children on all their hard work! Money we raise goes towards: art supplies, specialty classes like Woodshop, the Acorn Program, Handwork and much more!
**Donations may be tax deductible and tax receipts are available upon request.
