Christie grew up in Taiwan until the age of 12. Once she moved to the United States, she lived mostly in California until discovering the beautiful Rogue Valley. She graduated from UC Davis and worked for fortune 500 companies in San Francisco in marketing and business analysis. She moved to Ashland to open her own business in 2011. She currently runs her restaurant business in three different states across the Pacific Northwest.

Christie and her kids love living in Southern Oregon. There are so many perks of living in this area. A safe environment, the outdoors, and the well-rounded education and community at Siskiyou School are some of the perks they appreciate most. Benen is currently in first grade at The Siskiyou School. Mena will be attending kindergarten at The Siskiyou School in two years!
