Katie is a Bay Area native that moved to Ashland in 2019 after an exhausting search for a better lifestyle for her family. She has two sweet boys, Liam is in 6th grade and Luke is in 3rd grade. Katie is a Sales Operations specialist at a local STEM toy making company and a serial board member who also sits on local boards AWTA, The Children’s Museum of Southern Oregon and Park, Music, Beauty. Katie also loves to run, hike, paddleboard, bike and cross country ski all over Southern Oregon.

Beyond being a mother, Katie has been a teacher and advocate for children with neurodiverse needs for many years. When she found The Siskiyou School she immediately recognized what an incredible gift it is to all children and the community and jumped in as a volunteer as a parent pillar. Since joining the board Katie has made some significant contributions such as building out the Kindergarten, Glendale garage and getting on campus storage containers for event and play materials. She continues to be grateful and excited to sit on the board.
