Amy Bull, Office Manager
Amy grew up here in the mountains of Ashland. Much of her days were spent outside either exploring the woods or riding her horses. She was first introduced to Waldorf education when her friends attended the original Waldorf School of Ashland on East Main. She still remembers visiting the school and witnessing the magic of the classrooms with the colorful walls, soft silks and lovely songs.
Amy moved to Portland to attend Portland State University, where she got a degree in Fine Arts. Not sure what to do next she decided to move to Colorado, where she worked high up on the Rocky Mountains, skiing all day, every day for four years at Vail Resorts. Missing Oregon, and specifically the easy access to the beautiful Pacific Ocean, she returned to Ashland and has been here since 2006. For the last 6 years she has been living back up in the mountains she grew up on, raising her two amazing kids, Wyatt (12) and Cora (10), who are both students here at our school.
Career-wise, Amy has done a variety of things, most extensively working as a Graphic Designer, both for local businesses and through her own company. More recently, much of her time was spent volunteering in a variety of roles around our community, much of it here at our school as a reading group teacher, Oregon Battle of the Books program leader, Parent Representative, and more.
Finding joy in the everyday, baking, traveling, community involvement and being home with her kids on the mountain are all the things that make Amy happiest.
